(EMAILWIRE.COM, June 02, 2010 ) Nerd Testimonial

"Do you want to be successful both in work and personal life? Do you want to build a stronger relationship with your customers/clients? Do you want to win people to your way of thinking? I feel so fortunate and so amazed with Dale Carnegie training, the human relations technique / tools they teach just work like magic. I wish I had done this earlier. It is a life changing experience.

I was a very shy person as some of you had known. I scare, fear and don't know what to say to the customer or anyone. But now after going through Dale Carnegie training, I had become better and much more effective at communicate to everyone, my customers told me that they feel very comfortable around me and refer me to their friends, my other half is happier and prouder of me.

I am so proud to be working with Nerds On Site. Thank you very much for showing me the bright light and encourage us to do it."
Simon Quang Tran - Nerds On Site

The Dale Carnegie program is world famous, the largest professional developmental program in history. 3 foundation elements are: professional sales, management, and communication skill
sets.

It may be easy to say that people are born with confidence, but how easy is it to reflect this confidence when approaching new customers? Before being able to sell services, it is necessary to be able to sell yourself. The key to success in business is having the ability to network and create long lasting relationships. Selling goods and services to complete strangers can be a daunting task. However, with the Dale Carnegie Sales Training course, the confidence and knowledge needed to succeed is within reach.

Through the Dale Carnegie course, students will:

• Learn Dale Carnegie's 5 drivers of success
• Apply nine human relations principles guaranteed to make you more effective
• Communicate clearly and concisely
• Project an executive image
• Turn adversaries into colleagues
• Gain cooperation with an appeal that works every time
• Sell yourself and your ideas
• Learn the fundamentals of effective networking,
• Learn the sales process

Learning to Network

Networking is an important part of any job. Fresh ideas and perspectives will enhance the way you work. While it is imperative to make contacts, it isn't necessary to be the life of the party to do so. With this in mind, take note of these tips for achieving networking success.

1. Make an effort to remember names. Keep in mind that a person's name is the sweetest and most important sound in any language to them. People naturally feel friendly toward others if there has been an effort made to remember this one important fact about them. And, because the effort was made, they'll likely feel warm and friendly.
It's fairly easy to remember people's names, and may be the most important career skill to learn. The key is to associate the person with something that can easily be pictured so that there is recall of this image when trying to think of the personÂ’s name.

2. Create conversations and be a good listener. Encourage others to talk about themselves, because people love to speak about personal interests. Ask a few leading questions and most people will keep the conversation going with only a few comments from you leading them to further details. Get people talking and, before you know it, there will be plenty of fresh contacts lined up.

3. Become genuinely interested in other people. Listening is important, but the next step to keeping up the relationship is to really care about people. Remember things about their personal lives or their jobs and sincerely show care. For example, once, a coworker had a daughter with a serious illness. At least once a week effort was made to stop by and asked how her daughter was doing. It takes very little time to make people realize that you truly care about them, but will forge long lasting relationships.

These are some simple ways in which to enhance relationships with people both in personal and professional situations. In order to form a real bond, listen and then share. Try saying toyourself..."wait...and listen.....” and stick to it!
