Written by Nicole R. White, a young Caribbean writer, General Macbeth: Castle Pon De Sand is a key component of the I Love The Caribbean Movement.
The six city tour opens August 21, 2010 at the Toronto Centre For The Arts.
"Our investment in General Macbeth: Castle Pon De Sand, reaffirms our commitment to supporting Caribbean talent and entrepreneurs", says Haughton.
The I Love The Caribbean Movement identifies individuals with exceptional talent and ideas (like Nicole R White) and invests in them. Successful candidates receive $500 one-time awards or $2,500 annual awards.
