According to the Onehub website, virtual data rooms are configured to securely manage confidential files shared during the online collaboration process. Each room is secured with 256-bit encryption. Account owners can upload and store files from any web browser and controls on each account are set to prevent or limit copying, printing, downloads or any other type of file manipulation.
When virtual data room account holders invite other users to view their files, these new users are given a secure token entitling them to view only the information the account holder specifies. The Onehub website explains that account holders can see when those invited users enter the secure file sharing area, how long they stayed and what files they viewed.
